MOWA Opening Day

Well with opening day cancelled at Lincoln, our choice is to go or not to go to the outlaws race on wednesday then off to Jacksonville Speedway on Friday April 28th. The car is ready to go and the team is ready to race, but it seems like mother nature just doesn’t want us to race quite yet. Only time will tell.

Opening Day is Right around the Corner!

With opening day less then a month away, Jeremy and Ron and working hard and gearing up for the start of 2012. MOWA season opener will be April 20th,in Lincoln IL and the car show will be March 31st at Weebles Bar and Grill. Come out and see all the 2012 cars, meet the drivers, bring the kids and have a good time.

Season Finale this weekend

This week wraps up the end of 2011 racing season for Jeremy. He will head to Jacksonville, IL for the MOWA Season Championship, and then dueling it out with Jeff Parkes and Ricky Northrop after the races in a 1 lap foot race around the 1/4 mile of Jacksonville Speedway. Then off to Farmington, MO for the Queens Royal. Hope everything had a good 2011 and we look forward to a great finish this weekend and to start planning for 2012

Up and Down Weekend

After a hard faught 7th place finish at jacksonville on friday night, Jeremy went on to spoon river speedway for the Tom Knowles Memorial Race. The night started out decent with a second place finish in the heat race, which put Jeremy 4th row outside in the A-main. He knew he would have to get to the bottom quick since the track rubbered down in the heat races. Jeremy quickly got to the bottom going into turn 1 but unfortunately got hit in the LR and got a flat tire on the first lap, first corner. He quickly went to the work area, and Ron and Justin went to work fast with help from Jimmy Hurley’s crew scott. They got the tire changed but was unable to make it back out in time for the restart. Jeremy got lucky though and a yellow came out once again so Jeremy was able to restart the race but had to go to the back. He worked his way back up to 11th which was a task all in itself, then spun out so he didn’t run into Jimmy Hurley going into turn 3. Went to the tail end and was able to work his way back up to a 12th place finish behind Jimmy Hurley in a rubber down race track. Next up for Jeremy will be the Shaheens back from the past show friday and then off to Burlington, IA for the MOWA Series on saturday. With the points battle tightening up even more, Jeremy needs some good finishes to finish out the rest of the year.

MOWA Peoria, IL Recap

Well after fighting a bad power steering pump and getting to the track and finding out our LR Shock was leaking, the 10s had an overall good night. Started 3rd row inside in the heat and finished 2nd to Robbie. Drew 6 for the dash and finished 6th. The car was just a little too tight in the dash. Starting 6th in the feature, i tried running the middle to the top at first and lost 3 spots. After moving back to the bottom of the track, i started picking up a few more spots. After a hard fought battle i was able to work my way back up to 6th place. So all in all a good night. The car rolled in the trailer, another top 10 finish and now time to get ready for Jacksonville and the Herb Barlow Memorial this coming friday.

Lincoln IL Recap

Finally some good luck for Standridge Motorsports. Jeremy’s luck might finally be turning around bringing home a 4th place finish. Robbie comes home in 3rd. Jeremy was very happy with the car all night and bringing home a top 5 after the year he has had is a hugh step in the right direction. Next up for Jeremy is Peoria, IL on Sunday September 11th with the Monster Energy Sprint Car series.
