After Struggling in the heat and finishing 7th. Jeremy would have to start 19th in the A-main. He decided to gamble on fuel and tires and it ended up paying off. He had a little bit of everything that night. Had a fast car, had some luck go his way and a few cautions and restarts go his way when he needed it. Jeremy started off the 2019 season at 34 Raceway with MOWA and IRA. The didn’t go good, and couldn’t get the handling right. Jeremy missed the show and concentrated on jacksonville speedway rain date from friday. Jeremy came home with a 4th place finish. A good way to start off the 2019 season. Yea we had a rough year this year, had a fast race car alot of nights, and just seemed like we had bad luck and got caught up in someone elses wreck. We got to qualify better. Qualifying sets the tone for the whole night. We are already prepping for 2019 and now looking forward to what the future has for our team Jeremy says. Jeremy was looking forward to going to Pevely and Jacksonville over the Memorial weekend. the night started out with a 48 pill draw which had Jeremy starting last in the heat race. Jeremy raced his way into 6th and earned enough points to transfer in the feature. Jeremy and crew tightened the car up a little too much and Jeremy was waiting for the car to come in towards the end of the race. Jeremy heads to one of his favorite tracks this weekend, in Pevely MO. Jeremy has had a strong car to the start of the year, but unfortunately luck hasn’t been on his side. A fuel nozzle coming loose at Jacksonville after starting front row sidelined him with a dnf and he got caught up in a wreck in Haubstadt, IN. Will be a busy couple weeks with Macon and Lincoln, IL to follow.
Next up before race season begins will the the annual car show at Harry’s Adult day care on Highland Ave. in Springfield, IL. Bring the kids and the whole family and check out some cool cars, great food and plenty of activities for the kids.
